About us
Café Succès was founded in 1957 on the historic Korkeavuorigatan and has since been a central part of Helsinki’s café culture.
Where did it all start?
Gunvor Backman, together with her husband Torsten, founded their first café on Korkeavuorenkatu in Helsinki in 1957. Café Succès still operates in the same location and remains under the ownership of the same family.
Our way of working
For us, customer service, freshness, and above all, quality are the principles we uphold every day as we prepare to serve our customers.
Among our bakery products, our cinnamon buns have become a particular favorite. Our buns are baked daily in our own bakery, carefully crafted by skilled bakers.
We also roast our own coffee beans, from filter coffee to specialty coffee. This ensures a unique café experience every time you step through our doors.
